The SC 8220 is a highly versatile and feature-rich banknote counter, allowing users to streamline their workload with two new modes to avoid time-consuming and repetitive manipulations. With it’s “Multi” mode, the machine accepts different currencies in one single operation and provides a total note count split into the various currencies found within the note bundle. With “Auto” mode, the machine has the ability to identify the currency of the first note in the bundle and reject any differing currencies, allowing you to separate any potentially unwanted currency from the batch.
For easy back-office integration, the SC 8220 is provided with its own protocol. All transactions can be seen and managed using free software that accompanies the unit. Furthermore, all counted notes can be logged in a text file on an SD card, if present. These logs contain all count records from the SC 8220 and will list all notes counted or rejected, while also including the serial numbers of the notes read. The SD Card slot is placed on the front of the machine for easy access, making any potential updates a breeze.
As far as counterfeit detection goes, the SC 8220 has you covered. The SC 8220 comes loaded with a brand new patented UV LED bar. This bar is placed under the machine and will provide users with the ability to use manual authentication of very bad or poor quality notes.
